The Cartoon Art Museum is pleased to announce its latest exhibition, Keith Knight's WOKE in San Francisco. This retrospective exhibition features one of the most unique voices in contemporary comics, Keith Knight, as he looks back on his formative years in San Francisco in the 1990s and 2000s as a young Black cartoonist documenting his life in his weekly autobiographical comic The K Chronicles. These comics, chosen by the artist himself, document an unforgettable, transitional era for the City by the Bay, and provide the foundation for Knight's television series Woke, which launches its second season on Hulu on April 8, 2022.
