Kat Parra is a multi-lingual vocalist of Latin jazz and world music, including a unique style of Spanish Sephardic music. Capable of singing in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Kat also has the impressive ability to sing in the dying language of Ladino, or Judeo-Espanyol. Throughout her career, she has released four critically acclaimed albums, been invited to perform in Amsterdam, Brazil, and Mexico as well as top-tier venues throughout the United States, has earned the designation "Best Latin Jazz Vocalist" in 2010 and 2008 by The Latin Jazz Corner, and received a 2008 nomination for "Latin Jazz Album of the Year" from the Jazz Journalists Association.
