SAN FRANCISCO, CA (May 3, 2018) – San Francisco’s 42nd Street Moon (Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas, Co-Executive Directors), currently celebrating its 25th Anniversary in continuous operation, has announced that the company’s 2018 Gala, JUBILATE!, will be headlined by Moon favorite Klea Blackhurst (42nd Street Moon’s RED, HOT AND BLUE and CALL ME MADAM) and will feature special guest star Liz Callaway (Broadway’s MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, BABY and MISS SAIGON). The gala, celebrating 42nd Street Moon’s landmark 25th Anniversary, will be held at the Palace of Fine Arts on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. The festivities will commence at 6:00 p.m. with arrivals and aperitifs, followed at 7:00 p.m. with dinner and an auction. At 8:00 p.m., the Gala Performance will begin in the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre. The evening will conclude with dessert and afterglow at 9:15 p.m. All funds raised by the evening’s events will benefit Moon’s Capital Campaign to renovate the Gateway Theatre, as well as the expansion of MoonSchool’s education and outreach programs, which share the joy and magic of live theatre with hundreds of schoolchildren each year. Tickets to this one-night-only event range from $75 to $2,500 and are available now online at

“For any non-profit to make it 25 years - let alone a theatre company - is no small feat, and we wish to honor and celebrate all of the incredible artists who got Moon to this point,” said Co-Executive Directors Daren A.C. Carollo and Daniel Thomas. “At the same time, we'll be looking ahead to the next 25 years and all of the exciting opportunities that lay before us. We can’t wait to expand our education and outreach programs to touch the lives of even more students, and we’re truly exhilarated to transform the Gateway Theatre into a jewel of a performing arts space and a cultural anchor for the Financial District. We cannot be more grateful for all of the wonderful support we’ve received from our artists, audiences, donors and volunteers as Moon enters this new and exciting era.”
