Juan Aguilera was born in Guanajuato, Mexico in 1966. Juan joined the Creative Growth Studio in 1988, and embarked upon a long career developing a deeply personal and expressive style that reflects his veneration of the divine feminine. Calling upon a canon of symbols and media (namely underwear, flowers, lace, and birds), Juan's artwork pays homage to qualities of femininity that he greatly admires -- ornamentation and freedom.
