Grammy-nominated saxophone master Joshua Redman is renowned for his sound and his boundless creativity. In this highly-anticipated performance in the sonically spectacular Bing Concert Hall, Joshua performs with the legendary quartet featured on his seminal 2000 recording, Beyond. Released when Josh was just 30, Beyond and its follow-up release, Passage of Time, signaled a new level of creativity and emotional depth for this amazing virtuoso and his bandmates. In the nearly 20 years since then, Josh has deepened his musical relationship with all of these colleagues, collectively and individually. With bassist Reuben Rodgers and drummer Gregory Hutchinson, Josh established a new frontier of performance that has honed their already supple intuition to extraordinary levels of group interplay, resulting in Grammy-nominated recordings such as Back East, Compass, and Trios Live.
