I may as well say something like “where red meets orange”, or “a cross between Paul Simon and Christopher Walken." or "the love child of Leonard Cohen and Mark Knopfler." It seems to me the deep truths are bound in paradox, and when you inquire enough, you arrive at a place where all you can do is behold two opposing truths. And this seems connected to those moments when I realize that what I thought I knew about something, or someone, was wrong. It feels right to trust my judgments less and less - I’ve been so wrong about so much, and the slightest change in lighting changes the appearance of things. On to the limits of epistemology - cultivating some measure of humility in the face of how much I don’t know, especially about what I don’t know.
