JOHN LESTER
John Lester is an award winning songwriter who has, throughout his career, had one foot in the folk/rock/acoustic music scene and the other in jazz. As a writer, John has been awarded the "Song of the Year Award" from the West Coast Songwriters on two occasions. He has also won "Best Humorous Song" and "Best Jazz Song" awards. As a solo performer, John has created a unique show featuring his 100-year-old upright bass named Sarah, after Sarah Vaughan for her lovely vocal-like quality. John also plays guitar, bass guitars, and ukulele, and creates live looped tracks onstage for his finely crafted songs and improvisations.

Brendan Getzell is a prolific and passionate musician and singer-songwriter based in San Francisco and Oakland. For the past decade, he has been the host of the world famous Hotel Utah Open Mic, a prominent hub of the Bay Area singer-songwriter community, working with countless musicians on both his and their music. Brendan is Musical Director for Kat Robichaud's Misfit Cabaret, which performs frequently in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and Salem.
