Snazzy Productions presents a concert with John Craigie at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. John Craigie is dedicated to continuing the tradition of the traveling folk singer - a la Woody Guthrie, Ramblin Jack, Leadbelly and others - a tradition that is a dwindling one. John travels from town to town with nothing but a guitar and a head full of songs. Some of these songs are funny, others are sad, but all of them come from the heart. In a world dominated by superficial music, it is refreshing to see a musician use only the bare necessities to achieve his goal.
