A New York native by birth, Barbera came to Nashville by way of Austin, San Francisco, Maui, and London. Her songs are a meditation on wanderlust, heartbleed, and a traveler’s search for home.
Barbera is a self-made artist, independently producing and releasing two albums: Forget (2013) and Carnival Beginning (2009) and an EP, IMAGO (2017). When she’s not in the studio or playing around her adopted hometown of Nashville, she is on the road touring nationally. She has shared the stage with acts such as Sharon Van Etten, Mindy Smith and Melissa Ferrick. Her songs have appeared on MTV, NBC, and most recently CBS’s drama Criminal Minds. Barbera recently signed a licensing deal with Dualtone (home to the Lumineers and Shovels and Rope) and is gearing up to tour up the California coast this February.
Emily Fox sings, writes, and plays guitar. She 's a Bay Area girl, born and raised, but took a hiatus to live in Boston, New Jersey, DC and NYC (sort of). Her favorite food is pizza but she is gluten-intolerant. So she can't eat pizza. She's excited to release and play her newest project "American Heart" whose title track she penned in the days following the 2016 election.
