Southern Exposure and the Taneen Working Group present an event and conversation series exploring the ongoing Iranian feminist revolutionary movement. The series begins on Saturday, January 28th with a discussion sparked by an image archive of the global resistance, including: graffiti; wall stencils; public banners; funerals and mourning as resistance sites; anonymous public art, performance, visual art, film, music, poetry; and documentation of the student resistance and the Iranian diaspora's solidarity. There will be opportunity to discuss different tactics that have been utilized to expand the movement.
