Voss Gallery's [The Down Low] presents "Utopia," a solo exhibition of acrylic paintings by Jennifer Banzaca. The exhibition is on view March 11-28, 2020. Gallery hours are Wednesday - Saturday, 12-6PM or by appointment.

Join us for an Afternoon Soirée on Saturday, March 14, 2-6PM! The artist will be in attendance to answer any questions. This event is free and open to the public; RSVP is encouraged for event updates and special promotions.

"My idea of utopia is a recurring inspiration for my work, a place where there are no limits to visual creation. Most of my paintings emerge from an interest in creating an imagined space and a unique visual language." --Jennifer Banzaca.

JENNIFER BANZACA (b. New Jersey, 1969) is a painter and designer living in San Francisco. After graduating from the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA), she went on to live in New York and San Francisco working as a digital designer for print and animation. In 2004 she resumed her painting practice and continued studies at the Art Students League and the New York Academy of Art. Jennifer has exhibited throughout the Bay Area and has been an artist in residence at the Skopelos Foundation for the Arts.

VOSS GALLERY is an art gallery in San Francisco's Mission District established in 2019 by Ashley L. Voss. The gallery features a dynamic exhibition program of work by emerging and mid-career artists in both solo and thematically organized group shows with an emphasis in New Contemporary work with a technical edge. Voss Gallery prides itself for its unique commitment to fostering community and establishing relationships with local artists and young collectors. New exhibitions are presented approximately every three-to-four weeks.

[The Down Low] is located on the basement level with access via a staircase which may present difficulties for those with physical disabilities. We apologize for this; please contact us for additional documentation and information on our exhibitions if you would like to view the shows but have accessibility needs that our space doesn't meet.
