Jeff Daniels and The Ben Daniels Band

SEE EVENT DETAILS
You may know him from HBO’s hit drama Newsroom or as the “Dumber” (perhaps) from the hilarious Dumb and Dumber movies, or maybe as Debra Winger’s cad of a husband in Terms of Endearment. But Jeff Daniels is also an accomplished singer–songwriter who crafts terrific tales of famous people and ordinary folk, with a rollicking, folksy sound and lyrics hilarious and touching. An adept musician, he can growl a blue vocal or croon a gentle ballad, and finger picks a nimble lead while backing his blues stories with catchy riffs, biting humor, and stories from his life and career. He has shared the stage with Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt and Keb’ Mo’, but for this concert, Jeff will be joined by his son’s band, the Ben Daniels Band, a “life highlight” for the Emmy-winning and Tony- and Golden Globe-nominated actor.

"Recalling John Prine, Daniels is a semi-autobiographical yarn spinner in the mode of Mr. Guthrie and the much missed Steve Goodman." – New York Times
