Jazz Search West, the Bay Area's jazz Talent Search for instrumentalists and vocalists offers five exciting preliminary competitions for teens and adults from Feb- April beginning at Oaktown Jazz Workshops on 2/23. Other dates include 3/3- Sound Room Oakland, 3/12, 3/20 and 3/28- Piedmont Piano Co., the Semi- Final on 4/6- Plymouth Jazz and Justice Church and the exciting Grand Finale at Yoshi's Oakland on 4/28. Professional judges and the audience vote will ultimately select 4 top winners who will receive valuable prizes including a professionally produced demo, recording studio time, performance opportunities or Free tuition to Jazz Camp West 2020.
