This class is for people wanting to learn about screenprinting, on paper or on fabric. We are using a process easy to replicate at home. You will learn to:
prepare an image and frame for printing, using a stencil or a speed screen, including vector drawing software and using a cricut for stencils;
practice printing on paper;
learn about different inks and dyes to print on fabric.
We will provide designs inspired by the current exhibit on kimono design and Japanese prints at the Legion of Honor. You may also draw your own design.
