Create with light in this workshop on addressable LEDs. This three-hour course is an introduction to the WS2812 addressable LED. We will build a programmable badge that is wearable and rechargeable. You will learn to solder, wire up and program custom patterns and animations. Addressable LED's are full-color, chainable and perfect for costumes(Just in time for Halloween!), intelligent lighting, sculptures, Burning Man etc.. Strategies for building and powering larger LED installations will be discussed.
