Join artist Shaine Drake for an afternoon of creating your own batch of unique marbled stationery! We’ll learn about this beautiful centuries old craft, explore its special materials and tools, and take part in the super fun process of floating paint on a gel-like sizing to create patterns! Shaine will demonstrate how to achieve various traditional and non-traditional patterns through the use of handmade marbling rakes and combs. After this workshop, you’ll have all the skills needed to create not only marbled paper cards, but also marbled fabric and even wood and leather! The process easily translates to so many surfaces! Prepare to get a little messy and obsessed!

This workshop will be on Saturday October 21st from 1-3:30pm at the LPP Workshop (855 Valencia Street). Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Limited to 7 students.
