Intro to Book Binding

SEE EVENT DETAILS
In this short course you will learn the basic folding and sewing techniques that serve as the building blocks for all book binders. The class will teach you how to choose and handle materials, and how to use the tools of the trade. You'll get to choose from a variety of decorative papers and bookbinding thread to hand-craft your books. All materials will be provided and you will go home with your lovely crafted books!
Book artist and printmaker Megan Adie will be your expert instructor. This is a rare opportunity to learn book binding, in a relaxed setting, from a great teacher! Megan will also be teaching an amazing Intro to Relief Printing in July. If you have been curious about print making, this is your class!
