"Inspiring Faces": A Graphic Abstraction is an art show born out of a month long residency in a vacant Castro District storefront. Award winning artist Keith Hollander has created art in a space which encourages community dialogue about the arts in the Castro and San Francisco as a whole. The “Inspiring Faces” series invites the viewer to examine their relationship to pop culture icons and significant historical figures, through a style of work he calls Graphic Abstraction.
