Indigo De Souza

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Indigo De Souza is an American-Brazilian alternative singer-songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina who started self-producing her own music in 2016. After releasing the EPs Boys and Don't Cry Just Do in 2017, she issued her self-released first full-length album, I Love My Mom, in 2018. The album was later rereleased on Saddle Creek Records in 2021. Her second album, Any Shape You Take, was co-produced by Brad Cook (Bon Iver, Waxahatchee) and released in 2021. Her third album, All of This Will End, was released in 2023 featuring the singles "Younger & Dumber," "You Can Be Mean" and "Smog." The latter touched on De Souza's feelings of living alone during the COVID-19 pandemic. In September 2023, De Souza was a featured artist for NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series, where she performed songs from All of This Will End, including "Not My Body," which the singer said she wrote about her "love for nature." In 2024 she announced a run of U.S. tour dates, including dates with rock duo Babehoven and stops in Chicago, Brooklyn, Austin and Nashville.

"I feel very much like a shape-shifter with my music, I'm always trying to embody a balance between the existential weight and the overflowing sense of love I feel in the world."
