Kimmy was born in Sydney, Australia, where she developed her passion for acting, music, dance, and singing while signed as a performer for a youth talent agency. After moving to San Jose, California, and completing high school, Kimmy began her career as a self-taught, open-format DJ by playing at college bars throughout California. She soon developed a reputation as a bubbly, high-energy DJ able to excite and energize her audiences through diverse genres of music, including Top 40s, hip-hop, dance, and house. In short time, Kimmy began playing at boutique and major nightclubs in San Francisco, Hollywood, and San Diego. Kimmy has since began producing her own music.
