About Inas Al-soqi:

Inas Al-soqi is a Romanian-born artist of Palestinian heritage who lives and works in San Francisco. She graduated with a BFA from Tufts University and received a Master's from the Sotheby's Institute. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in private collections in Europe and the United States. As a perpetually foreign storyteller immersed in conversation about identity, she uses unique books, vintage magazines, and diverse printed paper to compose collages. She also practices printmaking and painting. Her artwork plays with the dichotomy between the sanctioned and the unsanctioned and delivers an endearing form of satire that expresses an ironic interpretation of class and nobility.
