The first In Your Face Punk Fest, organized by Charles Cordova (of '80s punk band Anti-Social, who are on the bill) brings together generations of punk bands, including Fang--a big part of Berkeley's early '80s hardcore scene; the original 1979 lineup from L.A.'s RF7 and longtime South Bay '90s punk rockers Sad Boy Sinister. Headlining are the Generators, a '90s punk band from L.A. that plays a mix of melodic hardcore and cowpunk. Newer local bands Them Creatures, Jack Killed Jill and the Lonely Revolts open the fest. --Aaron Carnes
