Greetings guv’nor! Welcome to the world of Charles Dickens – a world of greedy schemers, grubby orphans, penny-pinching skinflints, and gaslight kissed cobblestones glistening through the haze of coal smoke.Dicken’s portrayal of Victorian England is as evocative today as it was over 150 years ago. His characters remain some of the best known, and loved, in English literature. And the satirical social commentary woven into his stories remains just as humorous and hauntingly powerful,.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to step back in time and portray the wide variety of larger-than-life, multifaceted characters that populate the Dickensian world. You’ll stretch your character skills to new heights. You’ll perfect a range of British accents, from street-cockney to parliamentary Queen’s English. And then set it all to song! You’ll polish your improvised singing in solos, duets, trios and more. You’ll work on co-creating spontaneous musical numbers with a musician, and committing to them as if they’d been written, choreographed and rehearsed. So what are you waiting for? Enroll now and consider yourself part of the family!

**PLEASE NOTE: This class is non-refundable! See below for more details. **
