If you always do what you always did… An Evening of Poetry with Barbara Piper
Poetry as an entry point to conversations that matter.
On March 8, Barbara will be reading poetry from her first book in the making, The Sorrow Expellers. Much of these poems are a conversation between my herself and the different parts of her Jewish, German, English and Dutch heritage. She will also venture into some more recent work from the beginning of this year around being brave and moving away from those family ties to try new way of being.
I use the mobile as a metaphor for this system called family, illustrating the need for balance and harmony. And where is your tipping point?
Feel Welcome and bring a friend!
(quote) ’Barbara’s poetry events have proven to be a a wonder-full way to shape our thoughts around matters of the heart and finding language for what it means to be part of greater heritage and different systems.’
