In March of 2020, as the world entered into a lockdown, the I Need Space festival was born to fill in the huge gap that the queer music community faced as a result of the pandemic. We produced ten monthly live stream music festivals throughout 2020 and they became a beacon of hope during what felt like a hopeless year of isolation. We are so excited that things have changed just enough so that we can come together and be in the same space to make music again! The mission of the festival is to support, broaden, and strengthen queer musical community while bringing kick-ass music to the world when we all need it most.
