HVAC: Thermal Comfort

SEE EVENT DETAILS
HVAC: Thermal Comfort is new work by Dana Hemenway and Surabhi Saraf. It will take you on a journey through sculpture, movement, and sound to contemplate how heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems play out on the human body. Current building practices override and regulate somatic responses to the built and natural environment. Adopting the grid-like forms of HVAC systems as a motif, this work evokes our embodied relationship to the social and structural systems around us.
