Hui Tarava presents "O HIVA"

Hui Tarava Presents "O Hiva" The foundation, the gaurdian, the keeper of culture and the birth of free people.
This is an encore show for our recent award winning presentation at the San Jose Tahiti Fete. In addition, we will also be featuring an opening concert, new dances, and some great food and shopping! 
On the evening of September 10th, the doors will open at 5PM to the public. Admitance is free to support Bay Area local clothing vendors such as Cukui and Full Circle Karma. Food and beverage will also be available. 
A general admission ticket will include a chance to watch three live shows at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center at the corner of Sloat Blvd. and 19th Avenue, in San Francisco. Hui Tarava's band will be preforming a 30 minute live performances of the old and new mainstream music lead by Fatima lead singer of Hui Tarava, Cj Simbre of the Tonga Room at the St Francis Hotel in San Francisco and Kevin Dailey who has been a talent musician since a very young age.
Followed by the concert will be a Tahitian Dance that showcases our Tamarii (Kids), begginner Vahine (Women) and our advanced team of Vahine and Tane (Men) which will be a mix of traditional and contemporary Tahitian dances, choreographed by Justin Froggie Atangan and Angelique Bannag,
The closing set of the night Hui Tarava will present for all of you "O Hiva" which is an award winning, 40 minute dance presentation, recently performed at the San Jose Tahiti Fete. O Hiva is written by our mentor Coco Hotahota of Te Maeva and music arrangment by our dear friend Mevina Luifau of Tevake. Our Hui Tarava family thanks you all for the continuing support!
$1 of each ticket sale will be donated to the American Heart Association in honor of the late Dan Viray
