The Homo File Salon celebrates the life of Gay iconoclast Sam Steward, the sexiest English lit. professor on campus, seminal tattoo artist, author of pioneering homoerotic fiction, and sexual rebel. Steward's unique history evolved through friendships with Alfred Kinsey, Gertrude Stein & Alice B. Toklas and other LGBTQ luminaries. The Salon features live music from the sweet, sexy voice of singer-songwriter Jeb Havens, exclusive sneak peeks of Homo File, the upcoming performance dedicated to the legendary Samuel Steward, an exceptional Spring feast that would make Alice B. Toklas blush, fine Napa Valley wine, a collection of art & ephemera inspired by Steward, and a special talk about LGBTQ history. We will be hosted Sunday, April 13th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. by the fabulous Phil Neal Walker at Third Workplace in San Francisco's Mission Bay.
