Join us for the world premier of Homebody, an immersive art installation by internationally acclaimed artist Hueman at Ciel Creative Space in Berkeley, CA. Spanning over 20,000 Square feet, find yourself within Hueman's large scale pieces, and engage with her breathtaking art like never before. Homebody opens August 20th and runs daily through September 12, 2021. This event is ticketed, RSVP required for entry.
At the intersection of art and technology, highlights include original murals, portraits, and sculptures through state of the art projection mapping and augmented reality. With Hueman's signature blend of "etherealism" projected across massive white walls, submerge yourself in colorful mash-ups of the abstract and figurative. This 360 degree experience is enhanced by original audio and magnificent lighting to bring your consciousness into a new dimension. Homebody is homegrown and fully self-funded in community partnership with Ciel Creative Space, Endeavors Oakland and Mirus Gallery.
About the artist: The work of Hueman is woven out of both pure sensibility and hard edge method of working with the spray can. Whether she is creating delicate versions on canvas, or crushing massive walls, she often draws on the human condition to create colorful mash-ups of the abstract and figurative, and the beautiful and grotesque. Hueman is an East Bay native whose works can be found on streets and in galleries worldwide. She has collaborated with some of the world's top companies that include Adobe, Lyft, Google, Nike, L'Oreal, and the Golden State Warriors.
