The annual Holiday Art Shop at Creativity Explored returns for the season of artful gifting!
Ahead of the nonprofit's 40th anniversary in 2023, Creativity Explored and the community of 130+ disabled artists are inviting the community back inside the fabled 16th Street studio to shop for thousands of exceptional and affordable artworks for the first time since the pandemic began. This salon-style shopping experience includes rare and exhibited framed paintings, drawings and multimedia artwork, functional and decorative ceramic sculptures, unique fiber art and our collection of popular digital prints.
Not only are the studio doors open, but the CE gallery itself will transform into the Holiday Art Shop from December 1 through December 17 - an artfully curated shopping experience featuring one-of-a-kind affordable and unique paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, decor, fashion, gifting supplies, greetings cards and more! We've been diving into the archives to find hidden treasures just in time for the holidays. Shop a curated selection of framed and flat original 2-D artworks, ceramics, fiber art, and prints in the gallery, plus pick up your favorite CE products and gifting supplies. As always, 50% of original art sales go directly to the artist, supporting their well-being and independence.
To celebrate the season and the launch of our Holiday Art Shop, the public is invited to party in the studio with the CE community for an Opening Celebration on Thursday, December 1 filled with lots of art, music, funky fashions, and refreshments. Our donor preview is from 6-7 PM, and the celebration is open to the public from 7-9 PM.
Extended Saturday Hours
