Historic USO Dance Party at the Petaluma Woman's Clubhouse

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Petaluma Woman's Club Rentals (see times)
Hep Cats, Slick Chicks, and GIs, don your vintage togs and get ready to swing, sway and boogie to the big band sounds of the 1940s with Swing Fever Band.

(PWC) will recreate the USO Dances that were held in the historic clubhouse during the WWII era, complete with dancing, period refreshments, swing dance lessons and fantastic prize opportunities, all in keeping with the patriotic theme. 1940's attire and WWII Uniforms encouraged.

On the eve of the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Petaluma, the clubhouse will again pulse to the rhythms of big band sounds provided by the highly sought after Swing Fever Dance Band, with Brian Gold and Denise Perrier. Get your groove on with Bill Gabbert, swing dance teacher, who will show you how it's done. During the band breaks, The Steven's Sisters Act will croon some close harmonies, LynAnn King will sing Golden Era and Liberty School singers will entertain to open the show.

Hold on to your hats, caps and kerchiefs for the drawing of unique raffle prizes that include: (2) tickets to the WWII Museum in New Orleans; a day of fun at Rosie the Riveter Museum in Richmond, CA; a gourmet dinner for (4) with a Vet, wine and entertainment; a ride in a vintage airplane, and two memberships in the HueyVets EMU, and fly over in the Huey military helicopter on Veterans Day Parade, November 11th. Raffle prize tickets $20 each, and in advance from PWC members.

A vintage Jeep will mark the entrance to the party at 518 B Street in Petaluma, CA.

All proceeds go to the PWC Restoration Fund to maintain the historic clubhouse. As it has for over 100 years, the club continues with event rentals, membership events and community activities. The PWC is a 501 C4 Non-Profit Social Club
