Stanford Ram's Head Theatrical Society is proud to present its annual Spring Musical, Heathers. Heathers is a satirical take on the cultural norms of high school, following the protagonist Veronica Sawyer through a glittery, dark, and murderous senior year as she tackles color-coordinated mean girls, hypermasculine jocks, and unhinged boys with painted nails. What makes our production of Heathers even more unique is that we are piloting the first gender-bent antihero Janie Dean and the first queer female relationship between Janie "J.D." Dean and Veronica Sawyer. The playwrights of the original Heathers have given us a newly rewritten script, enabling us to transform the original Jason "J.D." Dean into Janie Dean in our show.
