Heart to Heart: A Poly Discussion Circle

SEE EVENT DETAILS
For the young poly and poly curious, this will be an intimate discussion circle of people sharing their experiences with polyamory: a setting for us to all share and learn from each other on this novel, brave, and exploratory ride.*Note this is a "public" facebook event, so clicking "interested/attending" could show up on your facebook profile. Our friends throw a lot of play parties and poly cocktail hours, but what we felt like might be nice is an intimate and personal discussion where we can each share real stories about poly, successes, challenges, lessons, and forms of poly that are working for us. We want this event to specifically focus on young & poly, to distinguish ourselves from other forums available. (We'll let you define young, but if you're our friends and friends of our friends you're probably 'young').
A lot of us know each other well, but haven't necessarily opened up intimate discussions about how we are doing poly. We aim to dive deep and talk about personal thoughts, feelings, and emotions, in an accepting, loving, judgement-free space. This won't be a setting for play or drinking/partying, but rather deep meaningful discussion.
Bring yourself, a willingness to share / be vulnerable, and comfortable clothing (we will be sitting in a circle on foam/pillows, and couches, and chairs).Arrive promptly at 7, as discussion will start shortly thereafter. Message us if some obligation would have you arriving late. Jupiter will be hosting tea ceremony at the beginning and end to create an atmosphere with which to connect more intimately outside the group discussion. We describe polyamory as living by the philosophy of allowing freedom for your lovers and partners to freely give their love and physical intimacy to others: that no one owns your body OR your heart. We welcome both people who are currently living their life this way, and people who are curious to learn more about living their life this way.The event will be co-hosted by Jupiter and Sean at the Convent Arts Collective.Purchasing a ticket helps us offset supply costs and planning time! We appreciate your support!Cover Photo Credit: Kim Chi Cuddles (http://kimchicuddles.com/)
