Celebrate with Harps Etc. on May 3 - 5, 2013 at our first Harp Festival and Tenth Anniversary Celebration at 1601 N. Main Street in Walnut Creek, CA. The full festival schedule, registration and tickets are available at http://tinyurl.com/harpsetc or by calling 925-937-4277

The Festival opens on Friday, May 3 at 8:00 p.m. with internationally known Paraguayan harpist, Carlos Reyes. World famous harpist Heidi Lehwalder will present a Master Class on Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 p.m. and the outstanding local harpist, Meredith Clark, will perform a program of music by by Krumpholtz, Tailleferre, Renie, Caplet and Salzedo on Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. Healing harpist, Joel Andrews will play a concert for meditation and healing on Sunday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m. The Bindi Society, featuring harpist Barbara Imhoff, plays on Sunday at 6 pm. You haven't heard music like this before. The Bindi Society features an exotic fusion of timbres from Celtic, eastern and jazz traditions. Workshops on harp repair and maintenance, harp ensemble performance and creative practice techniques will round off the weekend.
