Start the year out right, on the dancefloor with Gordo Cabeza of Motown Mondays & Lazyboy.
MOM SF is a Motown inspired dance party which was conceived by DJ Gordo Cabeza in April of 2009, it was born of a desire to reconnect with the music that was often the soundtrack to his childhood. More importantly it was a chance to honor the people and music who helped raise him, especially his mother. MOM SF, held every Monday, was joined soon afterwards by DJs Timoteo Gigante, Phleck, Matteo,U9LIFT and a host of other talented Bay Area DJs. It has evolved into a multi-city weekly event including MOM SF (San Francisco), MOM LA (Los Angeles) & MOM HNL (Honolulu) as well as being booked along side many main acts under the moniker MOM DJs at festivals and special events all over the country, including NYC, CHI, DEN.
