Join us for the official unofficial Hardly Strictly Bluegrass After Party "Bluegrass Night" at the Plough on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after the festival shuts down.
We have 3 killer nights of music;
Friday is Bluegrass Night
Saturday is Country Night
Sunday is Americana Night
Friday, Oct 3:
The Whiskey Squirrels -- San Francisco's very own super group of hot pickers and singers. Featuring members of the Beauty Operators, Cool Pistol Stringband, and Lonesome Still
Pitts Players Stringband -- this collective came together at a Grateful Dead show and another Grateful Dead show, and another Grateful Dead show...
T-Ranch -- old-timey banjo picker from the foothills of Yosemite

Saturday, Oct 4:
The Famous -- the most famous country band you've never heard
The EmeryVillains -- part country, part rockabilly, all good
$3 Whiskey Night -- whenever the bands play a "drinkin' song" belly up to the bar and order yourself a $3 whiskey shot

Sunday, Oct 5:
Hillfolk Noir -- Grooving. Raucous. Genre-bending. And always a ton of fun. Built on more than 15 years of tradition, today's Hillfolk takes their acoustic guitar, double bass, and "anything you can find at a hardware store" sound and integrates driving drums and an electrified sound, kicking down limitations to create a vibe that goes beyond their Americana "junkerdash" roots. Want to call it bluegrass's trouble-making cousin? Fine by us. A bit of string-band blues? Sure 'nuff. A concoction of electrified rockin' soulful folksy witchcraft mayhem? Now you're talking, mama.
The Good Bad -- once a fixture on the SF bluegrass scene, the boys in the Good Bad took an extended hiatus. But lucky for us the hiatus has ended and the Good Bad are back in action...and some say "better than ever". Ok, I say that. But it true.
