Pop is alive--pop art, that is. On Wednesday afternoon, the San Jose Museum of Art is celebrating the 86th birthday of Andy Warhol, whose vibrant red and white Campbell's cans and dayglow portraits of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley challenged the world to reconsider just what art could be. Join the museum in remembering the artist’s legacy. Warhol's portrait of Emily Fisher Landau will be on display and attendees can try their hand at screen printing. Show up dressed as Warhol and you'll get free admission. Oh, and there's cake. (Alice Yin)
