Hannah Rosner Presents: Finding Your Artistic Voice - How to find inspiration when your muse has left the building

Hannah Rosner will lead a discussion on creativity - focusing on how she gets inspiration and presenting a few exercises on how to restore excitement in a new project when you are in a creative slump. We will talk about why you may feel like your muse has left and give a few ways to jumpstart ideas and inspiration. Of course, we will also look at a whole bunch of photos of beadwork.

Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 6:45-8:30 pm
via Zoom Meeting, the meeting will open at 6:45pm and presentation will begin promptly at 7pm.

Free to members; $5.00 for non-members. Before RSVP, non-members, please pay via the link: https://beadsocietyofnorcal.org/membership/.

Please RSVP to Judy Sinclair ([email protected]) by Monday, June 16, 2025 to register.

Speaker Bio

I hold a BFA in scenic design and English literature from Swarthmore College and a Master's Degree in scenic and costume design from The Ohio State University, but my true love is beading and beadmaking. I taught design and color theory for 5 years at the Art Institutes International - both at their Pittsburgh and Chicago campuses.

I was a Starman Beads Trendsetter for 8 years, am a Toho Ambassador and have taken part in 13 Toho Bead Challenges as either a featured designer or mini challenger. I placed twice in the Toho Bead Contests, placed in the Glass Craft Expo jewelry show in 2009 and have been a finalist twice in the Bead & Button Bead Dreams Competition. I've taken part in 4 Battles of the Beadsmiths and have taught across the country at bead stores, shows and societies. I taught for 5 years at the Bead & Button show.

I have written articles for Artisan Jewelry Times, Soda Lime Times, Art & Jewelry Magazine and Beadwork Magazine.
