Pick up a Laurel Burch Art Walk Map and Laurel Burch Poster at San Francisco Mercantile, then stroll along Haight Street to visit stores exhibiting rare Laurel Burch paintings, designs, and jewelry that haven't been seen in more than 20 years, curated by Laurel's daughter Aarin Burch. Shop new Laurel Burch items in her vibrant designs and discover her life story at each stop: Laurel in her Own Words.

Immerse in Laurel Burch's bright, bold creative vision and sole artistic purpose: to inspire living from the heart ... The Haight Ashbury is where Laurel Burch lived, worked, and created her first original designs. A single parent at 19, she began handcrafting exquisite earrings and necklaces from old coins, bones, and beads to support her two young children Aarin and Juaquim. Laurel's unconventional approach to art and business resonated with the free-spirited culture of the '60s and '70s; her creations became bridges to friendships and patrons. Collecting Laurel Burch became a phenomenon.
