The San Jose Chamber Music Society presents an evening with Gwendolyn Mok & Friends at Le Petit Trianon Theatre. For this all-Brahms concert, Gwendolyn Mok will be performing on a rare, Paris-built 1875 Erard piano, an instrument Brahms himself cherished for its sturdy mechanism and harp-like sonorities. Also performing are violinist Diane Nicholeris and cellist David Goldblatt, San Jose State faculty and San Francisco Symphony members; as well as horn player Kevin Rivard and violinist Craig Reiss, members of the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra.
