Artist and Illustrator, Maru Godas, will be visiting the Bay Area for a series of classes she will teach on Gouache and Urban Sketching. She kicks off her stay with a FREE lecture at ARCH where she will go into depth about a movement underway in Barcelona where artists have been working on a new language in urban sketching. It’s centered around seeing and feeling as we relate to what’s before us. Maru will will go into detail with lots of images and help us understand why this new movement is taking hold. Primarily working in gouache, she also works in a mix-media style using ink, pens, graphite and even crayons. Her work is exciting and unconventional, fun and memorable.
Space is limited, so please RSVP to reserve your spot.
