The 24-year-old San Francisco native Danny Ali is primed for liftoff in 2021. His sound is extremely versatile; on one track he'll display his moody, hard-hitting atmosphere and his laid back demeanor like on SAMURAI. On the next, he'll have an energetic, upbeat vibe like with SWITCH UP. In 2014, Danny left home for college, attending the University of Hawaii. It was there where Danny began producing and writing records for himself, as well as a few friends, while completing his Bachelor's degree in Marketing. After graduating in 2018, he decided to begin releasing some of the music he had recorded while in college. His first official single, "Dennis Quaid", was released in 2018 and garnered more attention to the young artist than he had anticipated. Later that year, Ali would go on to release the first project of his mixtape trilogy, "Cult.18". With the momentum from 2018 behind him, Danny headed into 2019 with high expectations. After an interview and subsequent feature in his hometown newspaper, Ali was given the opportunity to perform at SXSW in Austin. His highly anticipated sophomore mixtape, "CYAN", was released in April of that year to high praise. After a year full of performances and appearances, Danny capped the year off with his EP "APOLLO"; a project that included the club banger "Switch Up" featuring fellow Bay Area artist Derek King.
