Go By Ocean

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Go By Ocean emerges from San Francisco’s Mission Bells Studios with their soon to be released debut albumPaper Thin Hotel produced by local legends Tim Bluhm (of the Mother Hips) and David Simon-Baker (who has produced Los Lobos, Jackie Greene, The Mother Hips, and ALO). Their ethereal yet bold indie sound has been honed by years of live performances throughout the Bay Area, including an ongoing residency at Phil Lesh’s venue Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael.

Lead vocalist Ryan McCaffrey and guitarist/vocalist Craig MacArthur conceptualized Go By Ocean's warm sound in sunny Southern California. They soon found the band’s true home in San Francisco, recruiting some of the best talent the Bay Area has to offer. Sean Nelson (drums) and Eric DiBerardino (bass) provide a soulful foundation, while Mike Pascale delivers his distinctive & passionate lead guitar. This remarkable musical chemistry has earned them a solid reputation among fans and respected musicians alike. Go By Ocean perfected their unique sound through their love for playing live, developing the moods of their debut album. This album emulates a diverse sonic spectrum, from radiant and inspiring to dark and mournful, painting harmonic pictures that support lyrics steeped in empathy and yearning, documenting struggles that evolve into hope.

Paper Thin Hotel features Danny Eisenberg on keys with guest appearances by contemporary San Francisco legends Tim & Nicki Bluhm and Dan Lebowitz (ALO).
