This year's stage performances hosted by the fabulous Mama Dora will feature:

Jocquese Whitfield (SirJoQ), legendary SF vogue dancer/choreographer/MC/instructor - highlighted on MTV's hit show 'The Real World' - his career is steeped in freestyle hip-hop improvisation as well as modern, classical and Diasporic dance traditions.

Special guest from Chicago, drag and burlesque star Otter Chaos - the beyond binary, bearded ballerina that lives somewhere between king and queen, horror and cosplay, classical elegance and raw sexuality.

A triage of cosmic talent from the beloved Liam Ocean, Vertel Jackson and Llano River Blue, giving you all sorts of neon wheel grandness and circus love.

The evening's finale will be a spectacular GayGlo Guerrilla Theater blacklight performance called "Journey to Earth" from the windows above the party, led by original organizers Chickpea, Jason Smart, Alex Robinson and DJ TomCat, plus supporting staff - you don't want to miss it!

For nearly two decades, GayGlo Guerrilla Theater was an infamous hallmark of the Castro's radical queer culture, shutting down streets and delighting thousands of spectators with its amazing blacklite performances and saucy commentary. We'll also be serving up tons of amazing art from our grand empress of neon Chickpea (Brian Busta), as well as Bernadette Bohan, Denis Dermadi Bebek, Joshua Katz, Hunter Fox, David Ng, Danny Ryan, Oscar Gallegos and more!

GLOW IN THE STREET ILLUSTRATION BY KLIFFORD GANANCIAL

DJ BIOS
DJ D aka Denise

From her meteoric rise in the San Francisco underground scene in the late-1990s under the guise DJ D, to now in her 20th year of DJing, Denise has played thousands of events and at most venues in San Francisco. She has traveled from Miami to Hawaii and everywhere in between, spreading her unique energy and style. Her nonchalant fader flicks and mixer tricks combined with seemingly effortless beatmatching skills are intriguing to many trainspotting fans.

Denise also runs Mizumo Music, a quality label for house music. This Bay Area label boasts over 160 releases from local and international artists alike. Her music productions have been licensed by well-respected artists and labels including Ministry of Sound, DJ Shortee, Simply Jeff and Epiphyte Record's "LovEvolution," the official 2009 CD for San Francisco's street festival modeled after Germany's infamous Love Parade.

In 2013, Denise was hand-picked by Insomniac's Discovery Project to perform at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, one of the largest festivals in the U.S. Despite her lengthy curriculum vitae, her favorite annual gig remains in the heart of San Francisco during Pride, where both old and new friends unite for an afternoon of dancing under the sun. When she's not DJing, you can find Denise working at an Emergency Department in Oakland, CA. It is evident that her mission in life is to save lives, both on and off the dance floor.

Hil Huerta

Hil Huerta was introduced to club music in the early 80s by his cousin, Eddie Garcia (aka Eddie Def). He began DJing on a set of used decks when he was 11 years old.

By 1986, while still in middle school, Hil had begun throwing and promoting parties, playing a mix of freestyle, hip hop and early house music.

Mil's drive and love of dance music has not abated. Now one of the Bay Area's top promoters and still a top-notch DJ, Hil is known for his electric house music sets, ranging from funky cuts to electro-fueled tech house to progressive grooves. "Of course", says Hil, "I still have all of my old stuff, so you never know when I might throw in something classic".

Of course, all of his musical diversity serves a purpose. While some DJ's will play a singular type of music to a crowd that's not enjoying it, Hil has a deeper appreciation for dancers and wants to make sure everyone has a good time. As he says, "I play every level of house music, just to keep the crowd moving".
In his continuing quest to keep the crowd moving, Hil divides his time between DJing, running a successful promotions company, and work in the studio. He is currently producing music with Homero Espinosa of Yerba Buena Discos.

Since then, she's held residencies at BOSS750, Club 1015, Sno-Drift, Space 550, and is a frequent guest DJ at KYLD 94.9 FM. She's passionate about Deep House, Sexy House, Tech House, and Progressive Trance. By day, she's a Senior Audio Producer at Pandora, and she's also composed music at EA for The Sims. Aili may change her hair color often, but two things that always stay the same are her warm and friendly smile and love of good beats.
