Glenview Classsical Series Presents Reicha Society

Glenview Classical Series presents quintets by Reicha and Mozart, performed by the Reicha Society of Oakland. Anton Reicha was a close friend of Beethoven, and a composer who's experiments informed and influenced the more famous composer. Violist and founder of the Reicha Society, Jacob Hansen-Joseph, has prepared brand new performance editions of the String Quintet in E minor and 2 preludes and fugues, all unrecorded music, and this concert is the USA premier of these works. Paired with these unknown pieces is the great and greatly-celebrated Mozart Quintet in G minor.
