Gillian Harwin is a master of many trades. She is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, native Californian and longtime New Yorker, but above all else she is a performer. Influenced by the rock and R&B greats, she leans towards a gritty, yet soulful sound. The winner of the prestigious and historic Apollo Theatre Amateur Night, Harwin is releasing a new album, Lost ‘n Found, this summer and is on the road, making her return to her former west coast home-base. Once upon a time, Harwin was a Kuumbwa volunteer, so we look forward to welcoming her back with a full band plus many special guests.
