Sponsored by the Collaborative Practice San Francisco, the workshop Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.., will educate participants about ending a marriage or domestic partnership without litigation. Presenters will discuss collaboration and other alternatives to help avoid court. Appearing will be attorney Lisa Murray, financial professional Lisa Schneider, and mental health professional Stacey Shuster.

The Collaborative Practice San Francisco is a local chapter of the statewide group, Collaborative Practice California, a non-profit organization. It is an interdisciplinary group of family law attorneys, mental health therapists and financial professionals who work together to guide couples in transition through divorce.
Mental health therapists may attend the workshops at no cost. They are invited to learn about how alternatives to divorce litigation may benefit their clients.
