An introduction to deep learning and the associated Python libraries like Numpy, Matplotlib, Keras and Tensorflow. We will learn how to build and use deep learning models to classify images such as "dog" or "cat" or "monkey" etc.
This class is for those who have written some Python before and want to know more about deep learning and how to use it on real world data.
You'll also learn how to create virtual machines on AWS (Amazon Web Services) with fast GPUs, so you can train your models way faster than you can using your laptop.
The class is meant to introduce you to the concepts of deep learning and provide a solid base to build deeper knowledge. You will learn:
Fundamentals of deep learning
How to solve a problem with deep learning
Build and train, verify and test a fully connected deep learning model
Build and train, verify and test a Convolutional Neural Net
