You're invited to the opening night of Curves that Compel, featuring work by ceramic artist Olivia Donnini (@ODCeramics).
Hosted at Ruby's Clay Studio & Gallery in Noe Valley, Curves that Compel explores the tactile experience as amplified in the presence of curved bodies. It is human nature to instinctively yearn for touch, to feel rooted as we make a physical connection. Curves that Compel presents a body of work designed to answer that yearning. Both intriguing and calming, the pieces are crafted to draw the audience in with their hands reaching out.

Olivia Donnini is a local artist who handmakes all of her work in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood. Originally a rule-follower and spreadsheet-lover, Olivia’s ceramic practice embraces imperfection, improvisation, and letting the clay lead the way.
Light refreshments will be served starting at 7pm; you are highly encouraged to touch the art.
