G-dcast founder Sarah Lefton uses modern media and technology (apps, animation, and more) to create Jewish educational resources. She discusses her work and Jewish tech.
Sarah Lefton is the founding Director of G-dcast. Before creating the organization (as a response to her own frustration getting an adult Jewish education) she produced digital projects for The New York Times, the Village Voice, Grey Advertising, Princess Cruises, and more than a few startups. She is a graduate of NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, and is a recipient of the Pomegranate Prize for Jewish educators, the Joshua Venture Group fellowship, and a “Forward 50” most influential Jews listing.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition NEAT: New Experiments in Art and Technology.
